Kano Fire Service Rescues Man and Cow from Well

On Wednesday at approximately 3:22 PM, a 40-year-old man named Badamasi Ibrahim and his five-year-old cow became trapped in an old well in Sabon Ruwa Village, located in the Makoda Local Government Area of Kano State. The cow fell into the well, prompting its owner, Ibrahim, to attempt a rescue.

Ibrahim Jibrin reported the incident to the Danbatta Fire Station, leading to a swift response from the Kano State Fire Service. Firefighters arrived at the scene and found both the cow and Badamasi trapped inside the well.

During the rescue attempt, Badamasi experienced difficulty breathing. Fortunately, the firefighters successfully rescued both him and the cow alive.

Sani Anas, the Director of the Kano State Fire Service, cautioned the public against entering wells for rescue operations, emphasizing the importance of contacting trained emergency responders to prevent potential fatalities.
