Enugu Governor Mbah Approves Scholarships for 760 Students

Enugu State Governor Peter Mbah has approved scholarships for over 760 beneficiaries, including 500 undergraduate students, 100 postgraduate students, and 160 public sector teachers, as part of the 2025-2026 local scholarship scheme. This initiative, disclosed by Chukwuemeka Mbah of the Enugu State Scholarship and Education Loan Board, aims to expand access to education and strengthen human capital development.

Successful applicants have begun receiving notifications via text messages and emails to verify their documents. The scholarship program reflects Governor Mbah's commitment to investing in education and empowering young people to equip the state's workforce with the necessary knowledge and skills for development.

The program is designed to ensure that financial constraints do not hinder qualified residents from pursuing higher education. The next phase of the scholarship program will also be open to residents of Enugu State, encouraging continued applications to facilitate access to quality education.
