Team Nigeria Athletes Unveiled for Glasgow 2026 Games

Team Nigeria has officially announced the athletes who will represent the country at the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games. The Nigerian contingent is set to compete in multiple sporting events, with high expectations for medal-winning performances.

The National Sports Commission (NSC) shared this information via a post on its X handle, expressing confidence in the athletes' preparations and urging Nigerians to rally behind the team.

The NSC stated, “Competition is underway at the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games, and Team Nigeria is ready to take on the challenge.” The athletes include competitors in various disciplines such as para track cycling, judo, basketball, athletics, boxing, swimming, para powerlifting, and weightlifting.
