Shola Mese Elected Vice Captain of Ogunu Golf Club

Deacon Shola Mese was elected as the vice captain of Ogunu Golf Club following an election held on May 19 in Warri. Mese received 57 votes, defeating Chief Bless Oboh, who garnered 41 votes, out of a total of 98 votes cast.

The election also included the appointment of other officials, such as Captain Fabianski and Secretary Toni Ovi, with Shaibu Hous serving as the community secretary. Mese, popularly known as FBI, expressed gratitude to the members for their confidence in him and pledged to lead with transparency and commitment to the club's growth.

He emphasized the importance of unity and respect among members, aiming to strengthen the club's reputation within Nigeria's growing golf community. Mese, who is also the founder of the Shola Mese Foundation, committed to supporting quality tournaments and enhancing participation in social sports activities, leveraging his experience from various golf clubs nationwide.
