Djabi Stable After Stabbing Incident in Denmark

Alamara Djabi, a 19-year-old midfielder for FC Midtjylland, is reported to be in stable condition after a stabbing incident that occurred in the early hours of Sunday in a central Danish city. Local police confirmed the attack, prompting the club to launch an investigation.

Djabi, who joined Midtjylland in 2023 from SL Benfica's academy, initially faced critical health issues and underwent emergency surgery following the attack. He has since regained consciousness after being placed in an induced coma for medical reasons.

The club released a statement on Tuesday confirming his stable condition and thanking the hospital staff for their professional efforts. Djabi had spent the previous season on loan at CD Mafra in Portugal, making seven appearances.

He has already made senior appearances for Midtjylland, which is a four-time Danish Superliga champion and is currently second in the league table, two points behind AGF.
