Millions of Ekiti Residents Benefit from Social Protection Programs

The Social Development Coordinating Agency (SDCA) in Ekiti State, led by Gbenga Sodeinde and Oludare Ogundare, reveals that six million residents have benefited from social protection initiatives to combat poverty and promote inclusive development. The NISD, in collaboration with the Ekiti State Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development, is implementing programs funded by the European Union and other partners to strengthen social protection.

The initiative aims to improve the lives of vulnerable citizens through social investments and poverty reduction efforts, reflecting the government's commitment to social development and poverty alleviation.
