Minister Advocates Innovation at Cosmopolitan University Matriculation

During the third matriculation ceremony held in Abuja on Saturday, the Minister of Science and Technology, Kingsley Udeh, urged the 430 newly admitted students of Cosmopolitan University to embrace innovation as a means to shape a brighter future. Udeh stressed that merely obtaining a degree certificate no longer guarantees employment in today's evolving global landscape.

He represented the Director of the National Centre for Technology Management, Olushola Odusanya, who congratulated the new students and their parents for choosing an institution deeply rooted in technology. Udeh commended the university's rapid growth and its commitment to producing solution-driven graduates capable of addressing global challenges.

Vice Chancellor Prof. Carl Adam described the occasion as significant, noting the university's progress and the quality of courses offered.

Registrar Ibrahim Ahmad disclosed that the university has received approval from the National Universities Commission to introduce additional programs and establish a faculty of agriculture. The ceremony marked a milestone for the university and its community.
