Mir and Holgado to Join Ducati-Gresini for 2027 MotoGP

Joan Mir and Daniel Holgado are set to join Ducati-Gresini for the 2027 MotoGP season, as announced by the Italian team on Thursday. Joan Mir, 28, is a two-time world champion in the Moto3 category and is transitioning from Honda, where he achieved only two podium finishes over four years.

Daniel Holgado, 21, will make his MotoGP debut after competing in Moto2. The team owner, Nadia Padovani, expressed great faith in both riders, stating they are ready to support them fully.

Mir aims to rediscover his best form and exploit his full potential, while Holgado is expected to grow with the team season after season. Current riders Alex Marquez and Fermin Aldeguer are set to join KTM and Ducati VR46, respectively, next season.
