70-Year-Old Woman Found Wandering in Osun State

On April 24, 2026, the Osun State Police Command announced the discovery of a 70-year-old woman named Shifawu Alabi, who was found wandering in the state. She was brought to the police by a good Samaritan from Tiwadayo Street in Ofatedo.

During an interview, Alabi, who hails from the Oja Oba area in Ibadan, was unable to provide a satisfactory account of how she came to be in that situation. Abiodun Ojelabi, the police public relations officer, disclosed that the command is appealing to the public for assistance in reconnecting Alabi with her family.

This incident comes amid similar cases of missing persons, highlighting the need for public cooperation with police efforts to reunite vulnerable individuals with their families.
