Mob Attacks Suspected Burglar in Ogun Community

Olaley William, a 41-year-old male, was rescued by the Ogun State Police Command from a mob attack in Oluwo Community, Odeda Local Government Area, Ogun State. The incident occurred on Tuesday when William was caught attempting to steal goods from a shop.

Following surveillance by traders who had experienced repeated thefts in the area, the police were alerted and swiftly responded to the scene. Upon arrival, they found William being attacked by an angry mob and ensured he was taken for medical attention due to injuries sustained during the incident.

The Ogun State Police Command has warned residents against taking the law into their own hands, urging the public to report criminal activities for police intervention. The police investigation into the matter is ongoing.
