Georg Moghalu: IPOB Lacks Capacity to Disrupt Anambra Election, Calls for Security Vigilance

Georg Moghalu, the Labour Party candidate for governor in Anambra State, expressed confidence that the proscribed IPOB and its armed wing, ESN, lack the capability to halt the state's gubernatorial election. He urged security forces to create a conducive environment for voters to freely exercise their franchise.

Moghalu emphasized the need for security agencies to be professional and neutral to guarantee a peaceful and transparent electoral process. He also called on INEC to conduct a free and fair election that reflects the will of the people.

Sixteen political parties, including the Labour Party and the incumbent Governor Charles Soludo's APGA, are participating in the Anambra election.
