Moghalu to Speak at Harvard GEM26 on Global Development

Kingsley Moghalu, a renowned political economist and former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, is set to participate as a panelist at the 17th Global Empowerment Meet (GEM26) hosted by the Harvard Kennedy School's Center for International Development. The conference will take place from May 4-5, 2026, and aims to bring together leading global thinkers, policymakers, and development practitioners to explore international development and reimagine the evolving geopolitical and economic realities.

Moghalu, who is the founder of the IGET Academy, will feature in a panel titled "Do Development Differ" scheduled for May 5, which is expected to examine innovative approaches to growth, equity, and sustainability amid declining aid flows and volatile markets. The conference will address pressing global questions and aim to reshape development strategies to ensure inclusive and sustainable outcomes.
