Moses Ted Andishu Becomes SWAN National Patron

Moses Ted Andishu, a UK-based investor and philanthropist, was appointed as the national patron of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) during a ceremony led by SWAN President Isaiah Kemj Benjamin. The event took place in Kaduna, where Andishu highlighted the role of sports as a unifying force in Nigeria, transcending religious and ethnic differences.

He stressed the need for professionalism and resource support in sports to contribute meaningfully to national development. Andishu, who has a strong background in grassroots sports and philanthropy, founded the Mose Andishu Foundation and sponsors various youth sports initiatives, including the YSFON U-17 football championship.

His involvement aims to enhance the association's reputation and effectiveness. The ceremony also included notable figures such as SWAN Secretary General Ikenna Okonkwo and other advisors.

The appointment reflects SWAN's commitment to fostering sports journalism and development in Nigeria and the diaspora.
