FG Includes Ogoniland in Lagos-Calabar Highway Project

The Federal Government has officially included Ogoniland in the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway project, as announced by Engr David Umahi, the Minister of Works. This decision was made in recognition of the late Senator Mpigi Barinada Barii's selfless service and dedication to national development.

During a goodwill message at a tribute event held on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, Umahi expressed deep sorrow over the senator's passing, highlighting the significant contributions he made to the nation's infrastructure sector.
