A team from the ECOWAS Bank for Investment and Development (EBID) visited Bauchi State to assess major infrastructure projects, including the nearly completed Wunti Central Market flyover, which is designed to alleviate traffic congestion and enhance commercial activities within the metropolis. The appraisal mission aims to evaluate the technical and financial viability of the project as part of EBID's standard due diligence process, providing an opportunity for stakeholders to consider further financing arrangements.

Bauchi State Governor Senator Bala Mohammed reaffirmed his administration's commitment to transparency and prudent resource utilization, highlighting the importance of improving urban mobility and expanding critical infrastructure across the state. The Wunti Central Market flyover project was flagged off by Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri on May 24, 2024.
