Muslim Students Urged to Uphold Islamic Values in Abuja

During a prize-giving ceremony in Abuja, Hajiya Aisha Aruwa, the Chairperson of the Federation of Muslim Women Associations in Nigeria (FOMWAN), called on Muslim students to embrace their roles as responsible leaders and uphold Islamic values. She emphasized that the pursuit of knowledge is an obligation for every Muslim, both male and female, and that it should be accompanied by good character and service to humanity.

Aruwa encouraged students to continuously seek knowledge throughout their lives and to remain guided by their faith and moral values. She urged graduates to respect their parents and teachers, maintain honesty, commit to prayer and research, and strive for excellence in both religious and worldly pursuits.

Ameerah FCT FOMWAN, Hajiya Fatima Isa Ndako, also highlighted the importance of character, discipline, and community service, stating that the world needs young men and women confident in their Islamic identity to solve real-world problems.
