Plateau State Governor Woos US Investors to Boost Economic Ties

Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang of Plateau State, Nigeria, embarked on a bilateral trade mission to the United States to attract US investors and bolster economic cooperation. During his visit, Governor Mutfwang engaged with key American institutions, including the United States Development Finance Corporation (DFC) and the United States Export-Import Bank (EXIM), to explore investment and trade opportunities that would benefit Plateau State and Nigeria.

He also met with US Congressman Riley Moore to discuss strengthening partnerships between Nigeria and the US, particularly in economic cooperation, investment, and security. Governor Mutfwang highlighted the progress made in fighting insurgency in Nigeria and emphasized President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's commitment to national security and welfare.

Congressman Moore commended the governor's visit and expressed a strong interest in deepening US-Nigeria relations for mutual benefit. Governor Mutfwang thanked the US government for its support and reaffirmed Plateau State's readiness to enhance cooperation and investment for the well-being of its people.
