Widow Accuses Nigerian Air Force of Abandonment After Death

Grace Joseph, the widow of Joseph Okp, has accused Nigerian Air Force officers of killing her husband after he was allegedly beaten to death following a minor traffic incident along the Oshodi-Apapa Expressway in Lagos. Joseph Okp was reportedly involved in an altercation with military personnel, which led to his death.

Following the incident, representatives from the Nigerian Air Force visited Grace Joseph to express condolences and promised support, providing her with N200,000 to assist in feeding her children. However, Grace claims that since that visit, she has not heard from the military again and feels abandoned.

She is left to care for their three children, aged 5, 10, and 14, and is appealing for government intervention to support their welfare and education. The Nigerian Air Force confirmed the involvement of its personnel in the incident and stated that an investigation is ongoing.
