NAF Enhances Transparency Through Media Engagement

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) organized a media familiarisation visit to the Air Component of Operation HADIN KAI in the North-East theatre to enhance public understanding of its counter-terrorism operations. The delegation, led by Director of Public Relations and Information, Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, included defence correspondents from various media organizations.

The visit aimed to promote transparency and accountability in military operations. Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Sunday Kelvin Aneke, emphasized the importance of credible communication in sustaining public trust.

Journalists participated in air and ground patrols, interacted with military personnel, and observed the professionalism of troops. Air Commodore MB Ahmed, the Air Component Commander, briefed on ongoing air operations, while Major General AE Abubakar, Theatre Commander of Joint Task Force Operation HADIN KAI, discussed the Air Component's role in Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) and air mobility missions.

This initiative aligns with the CAS's philosophy of building a mission-ready force while reinforcing public support for military operations.
