NAF Urges Nigerians to Trust Official Military Information

Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodam, the Director of Public Relations for the Nigerian Air Force (NAF), called on Nigerians to rely on official information released by the NAF instead of rumors. During a visit from the Defence Correspondents Association of Nigeria at the NAF headquarters in Abuja, Ejodam stressed the commitment of the NAF to truth, accuracy, and credible public communication.

He highlighted the dangers of spreading false and unverified information, which could unintentionally support terrorist groups and amplify public fear. Ejodam praised the professionalism of defense correspondents, particularly their commitment to verifying facts before publishing reports.

He urged journalists and the public to verify information and support efforts to safeguard national security. Mr.

Odita Sundai, the President of the Defence Correspondents Association of Nigeria, congratulated Ejodam on his appointment and acknowledged the sacrifices made by the NAF in defending Nigeria against various security threats.
