Nigerian Air Force Launches Youth Empowerment Programme

On Thursday, the Nigerian Air Force, led by Chief of Air Staff Air Marshal Sundai Anek, launched the Chief of Air Staff Youth Empowerment Programme (CASYEP). This initiative is designed to equip the children of serving, retired, and deceased personnel with skills and opportunities for professional growth.

During the launch, Anek expressed that the program aims to inspire youth and unlock their potential while renewing the commitment to the welfare of Nigerian Air Force personnel and their families. He shared his personal journey of growing up within the military system, highlighting the challenges faced by children of military personnel, including frequent relocations and limited exposure to opportunities.

Anek urged beneficiaries to embrace the opportunities provided by the program. Ayodel Olawand, representing the Minister of Youth Development, and Anthony Chukwuka, Director of Planning, commended the initiative, reaffirming the federal government's commitment to youth development and emphasizing the importance of investing in human capital for the nation's future.
