NAF Launches Youth Empowerment Programme in Abuja

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) inaugurated the Chief of Air Staff Youth Empowerment Programme (CASYEP) on Thursday in Abuja, led by Chief of Air Staff Air Marshal Sundai Anek. This landmark initiative aims to unlock the potential of youth within the NAF community through skill acquisition and mentorship.

The program is designed to create a sustainable platform that fosters self-reliance and purpose-driven youth, thereby strengthening the welfare of Air Force families. Air Marshal Anek emphasized the importance of the initiative, noting its special significance in uplifting and empowering the children of personnel who have dedicated their lives to the service.

The program seeks to instill discipline, resilience, and a strong sense of identity among the youth, addressing challenges associated with frequent relocations and limited professional growth opportunities. Special guest Anthony Chukwuka, representing the Minister of Youth Development, commended the NAF for investing in the next generation and urged beneficiaries to maximize the opportunities provided by the program.
