Nafada Backs Pantami for PDP Governorship in Gombe

Senator Bayero Nafada, a prominent figure in Gombe State, has officially endorsed Professor Isa Ali Pantami as the governorship candidate for the People's Democratic Party (PDP) ahead of the 2027 elections. This endorsement comes after Senator Nafada's political structure, which spans 11 local government areas in Gombe State, declared their decision to remain loyal to the PDP despite previous discussions about switching to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The announcement was made during a visit by a delegation led by Hon. Malachi Karf Kanadi and Hon.

Umaru Bajam to Professor Pantami, where they expressed their commitment to mobilizing support for the PDP's success in the upcoming elections. Professor Pantami acknowledged the confidence placed in him and emphasized his commitment to inclusive governance and partnership to strengthen the party's position in Gombe State.
