NAFDAC Recalls Mr 7 Super 700000 Capsules Over Safety Risks

The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has issued a voluntary recall of the male enhancement dietary supplement "Mr 7 Super 700000 Capsules" due to serious safety concerns. The agency's announcement follows an analysis by the U.S.

Food and Drug Administration (FDA), which found that the product contains undeclared active ingredients sildenafil and tadalafil, both phosphodiesterase (PDE-5) inhibitors approved by the FDA for the treatment of male erectile dysfunction. The presence of these substances renders the capsules an unapproved drug, as their safety and efficacy have not been established.

NAFDAC warns that the consumption of this product poses serious health risks, particularly for adult males with diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, or heart disease, as it may interact dangerously with nitrates found in prescription medications like nitroglycerin, potentially causing life-threatening drops in blood pressure. The agency advises consumers to immediately stop using the capsules and return any remaining products to the nearest NAFDAC office.
