NAHCO PLC Appoints New Directors Effective July 2026

NAHCO PLC has appointed Wolemi Esan, a legal expert, as a director and Julius Omadoye-Awotuga, currently an executive director at First Bank of Nigeria, as a non-executive director. These appointments will take effect on July 1, 2026, and follow the retirement of former directors Akinwumi Godson Fanimo and Taofeeq Oluwatoyin Salman.

The company disclosed these changes in a regulatory filing signed by the company secretary, Bello Abdullahi. Additionally, Tajudeen Omoshola Shobayo has been appointed as vice chairman, succeeding Fanimo, who served on the board for eight years.

Wolemi Esan is recognized for his extensive experience in corporate finance, governance, and infrastructure law, with over two decades of experience advising on various corporate matters. Omadoye-Awotuga brings significant experience from the banking and energy sectors, having held senior leadership positions prior to his current role.
