NANS, NAUS Demand Justice for Nurse Mari Habila's Death

The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) and the National Association of University Students (NAUS) expressed their condolences over the death of nurse Miss Mari Habila, who was found dead in the home of David Umahi Federal University of Medical Sciences in Uburu, Ebonyi State. In a joint statement released on Thursday, signed by NANS Senate President Ibeabuchi Onyia and NAUS President Meshach Nwankwo, they described Habila's death as painful and expressed shock at her demise.

They called for a thorough and impartial investigation to establish the circumstances surrounding her death. The organizations stressed the importance of justice and urged the Nigerian public to avoid drawing premature conclusions as the matter is already in court.

They commended the proactive steps taken by the authorities to ensure justice and called for an autopsy to ascertain the actual cause of Habila's death. NANS and NAUS pledged to continue advocating for justice and monitoring the investigation's outcome.
