NAPTIN Trains 1,500 Engineers to Boost Nigeria's Power Sector

The Nigerian Power Training Institute (NAPTIN) is conducting training for 1,500 engineers and technicians to improve the power sector in Nigeria. This initiative aims to boost vocational training and skill development in collaboration with stakeholders from the Nigerian Electricity Supply Industry (NESI).

The project, supported by the European Union (EU) and Agence Française de Développement (AFD), seeks to address the skills gap in the industry. Mr.

Ahm Nagod, the Director-General of NAPTIN, emphasized the importance of building a sustainable workforce to enhance infrastructure utilization and performance. Representatives from the Ministry of Power are actively involved in this training program.
