Nasarawa LGA Secretary Sacked Over Social Media Posts Disrespecting Elders

The Local Government Area (LGA) Secretary in Nasarawa, Usman Zubairu Egya, was terminated from his position in Keffi LGC due to alleged unethical social media posts and disrespect towards elders and stakeholders. The decision to sack him was made after queries were issued, and he reportedly failed to respond satisfactorily.

The termination was based on the grounds of threats against the executive chairman, unethical social media behavior, and disrespect towards constitutional authorities and elders. The letter announcing his termination highlighted concerns that his actions could disrupt the peace and coexistence within the LGA and the APC party at the local and state levels.

As a result, he was instructed to cease and relinquish his position as the LGA Secretary in Keffi. The move was deemed necessary to uphold respect for constitutional authorities and maintain harmony within the local government structure.
