NASENI Empowers 1,000 Lagos Residents with Clean Energy

The National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI) empowered 1,000 residents of Lagos State with clean energy solutions and practical skills under its Sustainable Empowerment Programme (NSEP) on Friday at the LTV Blue Roof, Ikeja. The program included the distribution of 400 NASENI Power Stoves, 100 NASENI Home Solar Solutions, and NASENI Support Packs, along with training in Plaster of Paris (POP) installation and electrical maintenance.

Khalil Suleiman Halilu, Executive Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of NASENI, stated that this initiative followed a similar program in Ohafia, Abia State. He emphasized the importance of technological innovations in addressing everyday challenges faced by Nigerians.

The NASENI Power Stoves aim to provide cleaner cooking alternatives, while the Home Solar Solutions offer renewable energy options for households and small businesses. Halilu urged beneficiaries to utilize the products and skills effectively, highlighting the program's goal of transforming learning into earning and fostering economic participation.
