Hakeem Olajuwon Commends AQT for Community Initiatives

During a Ramadan lecture hosted by the Houston chapter of the Nasrul Lahi L Fatih Society (NASFAT), Nigerian-born NBA Hall of Famer Hakeem Olajuwon publicly recognized the community work of Nigerian-American artist Abdul Quam Tade, popularly known as AQT. Olajuwon praised AQT's commitment to fostering Islamic community activities and supporting youth development initiatives.

AQT's work focuses on engaging youth through cultural exchange, mentorship opportunities, and sports. He has organized various grassroots initiatives, including community picnics and cultural gatherings, aimed at bringing young people together.

Notably, AQT is involved in an educational basketball initiative led by Iseolupo Adepitan, which aims to develop young African basketball talent. This initiative also featured American YouTube musician DDG and Nigerian-American rapper Maxo Kream, who participated as special guests, providing mentorship and encouragement to the youth.
