NBTE Hosts Conference on Decentralized AI Systems for Polytechnics

The National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) is organizing an international conference in Abuja to introduce a decentralized AI system for Polytechnics. The event aims to address the challenges of limited internet access and high data costs by providing offline access to AI and machine learning tools.

NBTE will unveil 46 custom-built AI models created in collaboration with Kombolcha Polytechnic in Ethiopia and MOC LLC in the United States. The initiative seeks to democratize access to AI resources and strengthen the nation's capacity in applied engineering and data-driven innovation.
