NDC Welcomes Obidient Movement Coordinators Nationwide

The Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC), led by Seriak Dickson, has officially welcomed coordinators from the Obidient Movement across the country. This announcement was made during a meeting in Abuja, where Dickson urged new entrants to engage with the party's state structures to facilitate their integration.

Dickson, a former governor of Bayelsa State, described this engagement as an opportunity to appreciate the role of Obidient Movement members in sustaining democratic advocacy during the 2023 general elections. He noted that the commitment shown by these members reflects a growing desire among Nigerians for political reform and accountability in governance.

Dickson emphasized the importance of collaboration with state chairmen to strengthen grassroots mobilization and organizational cohesion. He acknowledged the frustrations of Nigerians seeking alternative political platforms and assured new members of the NDC's commitment to democratic reform and national development.

Additionally, Dickson met with Dieprey Abay Leghemo, a businessman and politician from Bayelsa, who was formally received into the NDC.
