NDC to Hold NEC Meeting and Launch Campaign Council

The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) has scheduled its 3rd National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting for October 26, 2026, at JD event centre, Kashim Ibrahim Way, Maitama, Abuja, starting at 10 am. Osa Director, the National Publicity Secretary of the NDC, announced this in a statement.

A key feature of the meeting will be the presentation of the party's Statement of Account by the National Treasurer, reflecting the NDC's commitment to transparency and accountability. Director challenged other political parties, particularly the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), to adopt similar financial openness.

He noted that due to economic hardships, about 80% of NDC candidates could not afford the Expression of Interest forms, prompting the party to provide these forms free of charge. The NEC meeting will also unveil the National Campaign Council, which encompasses various campaign councils for different offices, and candidates will receive Certificates of Return for their respective positions.
