Peter Obi Responds to Court Ruling on NDC Registration

In a statement issued on Friday in Abuja, Obi urged party members not to lose hope and reassured them that the NDC's legal team is actively reviewing the judgment to identify appropriate legal steps for an appeal.

The NDC leadership, represented by Idri Zekeri Jnr, described the court's decision as bizarre and expressed optimism that the legal issues surrounding the party's registration would eventually be resolved. The ruling affects the NDC's recognition and participation in upcoming elections, but Obi emphasized the party's commitment to democratic principles and the rule of law, urging members to remain united and focused on their political objectives.
