Peter Obi Mandates Approval for Support Groups' Actions

Peter Obi, the presidential candidate for the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), emphasized that support groups such as the OK Movement, Obidient Movement, and Kwankwasiyya must seek his approval and that of his running mate, Rabiu Kwankwaso, before undertaking any actions. In an interview on Arise Television, Obi asserted that these groups are meant to support the NDC's leadership and should not assume roles that belong to the party itself.

He criticized a situation where one of the supporting groups claimed to be forming a presidential campaign council, stating that such actions are inappropriate. Obi reiterated that the NDC is the political party they all belong to and that any initiatives by these groups must align with the directives of both him and Kwankwaso.
