NDC Awards Peter Obi Presidential Ticket Free of Charge

At a stakeholders' meeting on Thursday, Seriak Dickson, a leader of the Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC), announced that the party granted Peter Obi the presidential ticket without requiring any payment. Dickson clarified that the NDC permitted Obi to choose his vice-presidential candidate without interference from the party.

He expressed confidence in Obi's support and stated that the party would not impose any conditions on the presidential nomination. Dickson emphasized that during the nomination process, no one requested money, highlighting the NDC's commitment to working together to ensure victory in the 2027 elections.

He reiterated that the party's approach was to facilitate a smooth nomination process for Obi, allowing him the freedom to select his running mate as he deemed fit.
