NDE Opens Registration for Youth Training Initiative

The National Directorate of Employment (NDE) in Imo State has initiated the registration process for unemployed youths as part of the third phase of the Renewed Hope Employment Initiative (RHEI). The registration period commenced on July 23 and will continue until July 29, 2026, with an expected 26,961 youths to register nationwide. The training program will cover areas such as agriculture, vocational skills, entrepreneurship, public works, and renewable energy.
Ohanu encouraged interested youths aged 18 to 45 from Imo State to register through the NDE portal or visit the NDE office located at the Federal Secretariat, Port Harcourt Road, Owerri. Successful applicants will begin their training immediately after the program's flag-off in the first week of August 2026.
It is important to note that beneficiaries from the first and second phases of the program are not eligible to apply.
