FG Launches Renewed Hope Employment Initiative in Ondo

The Federal Government has launched the registration for the third phase of the Renewed Hope Employment Initiative (RHEI) in Ondo State, aimed at providing jobs and fostering self-reliance among unemployed and unskilled Nigerians. Mr.

Silas Agara, the Director-General of the National Directorate of Employment (NDE) in Ondo, announced that this initiative aligns with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda. The program will offer training in over 70 demand-driven skills, including agriculture, entrepreneurship, public works, Information and Communication Technology (ICT), and various technical and vocational trades.

A total of 26,961 Nigerians are expected to benefit nationwide, with 3,405 graduates receiving starter packs and work tools to help establish sustainable businesses after completing the training. Registration commenced on July 23, 2026, and will continue for one week, with training scheduled to begin in August.

Interested applicants must register online using a valid National Identification Number (NIN) and a recent passport photograph, with selections made on a first-come, first-served basis.
