FG Launches Third Phase of Youth Employment Initiative

The Federal Government has initiated the third phase of its Renewed Hope Employment Initiative in Ekiti State, aimed at equipping unemployed youths with marketable skills. The National Directorate of Employment (NDE) announced the registration during a press briefing in Ado-Ekiti on Friday.
The online registration portal opened on July 23, 2023, and will remain accessible until July 29, 2026. Orelusi Michael Omoniyi, the Ekiti State Coordinator of the NDE, stated that the initiative targets unemployed Nigerians aged 18 to 40, with an expected 26,961 beneficiaries trained nationwide.
The training will cover four sectors: Agricultural Skills Training, Entrepreneurship Skills Training, Vocational Skills Training, and Renewable Energy Training. Omoniyi emphasized that the registration process is free and cautioned against fraud, stating that no payment is required at any stage.
All applications must be submitted online through the dedicated portal.
