NDLEA and Army Destroy Cannabis Farm in Adamawa State

The Adamawa State Command of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), in collaboration with the 271 Task Force Battalion of the Nigerian Army, conducted an operation in Grang Village, Zah, within the Michika Local Government Area. This operation led to the discovery and destruction of a cannabis farm, specifically a suspected Cannabis sativa plantation.
The operation, which was detailed in a statement signed by Abner Yushua on behalf of the NDLEA Command, resulted in the recovery of 30 bags of a dried substance believed to be Cannabis sativa, weighing a total of 428 kilogrammes. However, the operation did not succeed in apprehending the targeted suspect, identified as Baba Luka Lada Drang, who has reportedly gone into hiding.
The NDLEA Command has stated that it is intensifying surveillance and efforts to capture the fleeing suspect, while the recovered substances remain in their custody for further investigation.
