NDLEA Seizes 10,000 Captagon Pills in Kwara State

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) intercepted 10,000 captagon pills in Kwara State on April 21, 2026, during a patrol along Bode Saadu Road. The operation was led by NDLEA spokesperson Femi Babafemi, who disclosed that the pills were found in a trailer driven by 33-year-old Nasiru Mu Azu.

The street value of the seized captagon is estimated at 25 million Naira. Additionally, on April 24, NDLEA officers intercepted another trailer, recovering 155,900 capsules of tramadol and other drugs.

A separate operation in Oyo State led to the arrest of 33-year-old Ez Princ Emeka, who ingested 45 pellets of cocaine, weighing 1.043 kilograms, while attempting to evade detection. Other operations across various states resulted in the seizure of significant quantities of cannabis and other illicit substances, highlighting the ongoing drug trafficking challenges in Nigeria.
