NSITF Calls for Stronger Partnerships at NECA Summit

During the 5th annual summit of the Nigeria Employers' Consultative Association (NECA) held in Abuja, Barr. Oluwaseun Faley, the Managing Director of the Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF), advocated for stronger collaborations among government, employers, and workers to drive sustainable economic growth.

Faley delivered a goodwill message, emphasizing the summit's theme of leveraging reforms for enterprise competitiveness and inclusive national growth. He highlighted the necessity for businesses to adapt to new economic realities and innovate to remain competitive.

Faley referenced the Nigerian proverb about mutual assistance, stressing that partnerships among government, employers, and workers are essential for building trust and achieving shared goals. He noted that the NSITF's role in protecting workers complements enterprise competitiveness, arguing that a safe and confident workforce is crucial for resilient business investments.

Faley also pointed out that employee compensation schemes are critical pillars of social protection, ensuring that no segment of the workforce is left behind as Nigeria pursues economic reforms.
