NEDC Commends Progress on Adamawa Bridge and Youth Center

The North East Development Commission (NEDC) praised the ongoing construction of the Bole bridge and a youth development center in Adamawa State. The inspection visit was led by Musa Hyeladi on behalf of the Adamawa State Coordinator of the Commission, Barrister Khalifa M Lawan, alongside technical administrative staff.

During the inspection at the Bole bridge site, Hyeladi expressed satisfaction with the progress, noting that the five-span bridge project, once completed, will restore connectivity, improve transportation, boost economic activities, and enhance access to farms, markets, schools, and healthcare services for the community. Joseph Franci, the head of the technical team, briefed the delegation on the scope of work and the expected impact on the host community.

Additionally, the inspection team visited the youth development center designed to provide vocational training and skill acquisition opportunities for youth across Adamawa State and the wider North East region. Ghassan Ghanem, the project manager from Traicta Construct Limited, expressed appreciation for the Commission's support and assured adherence to quality standards and timely delivery.
