Benue Commissioner Iorpev Backs Alia for 2027 Election

Chief Solomon Iorpev, recently inaugurated as the Benue State Commissioner for Information and Orientation, called on voters in his constituencies of Konshisha and Jechira to support Governor Hyacinth Alia's re-election campaign for the 2027 general elections. This appeal was made during a reception held in Makurdi, organized in his honor by friends, associates, and well-wishers following his swearing-in and appointment by Governor Alia.

Iorpev praised Alia as a leader with good intentions for the state and emphasized the importance of supporting the governor's second-term bid. He also requested the people's prayers and support as he undertakes his new responsibilities, assuring that he would serve all sections of the state without discrimination, stating, “I’m for Konshisha, I’m for Jechira, I’m for all.”.
