New Road Infrastructure Boosts FCT Real Estate Growth

Barrister Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA), announced that real estate developers are leveraging new road infrastructure to spur rapid building projects across the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). This statement was made during his inspection of the ongoing construction of an access road to the FCT Fire Service Station in Kaura District, which connects Ring Road II to Oladipo Diya Way in Gaduwa District.

The project includes the construction of one collector road, two important local streets, and a minor access road. Wike noted the socio-economic benefits of the new infrastructure, stating it creates jobs for the youth and transforms the local economy.

He expressed satisfaction with the construction progress, particularly the completion of the bridge structure, and directed the contractor to extend the project scope for greater community benefit. Wike assured that the construction company is confident in meeting the December completion timeline, while he promised immediate administrative action regarding funding to maintain project momentum.
