New Zealand has expanded its working holiday visa program to include nationals from 45 countries, allowing young individuals from these nations to work and travel in New Zealand. The duration of the visa varies by country, with most eligible countries capped at a standard stay of 12 months.

Notably, the United Kingdom offers the most generous terms, allowing its nationals to apply for stays of 12, 23, or 36 months, with the possibility of extending an existing visa up to 36 months. Canada follows closely, permitting applicants to choose between 12 and 23 months, with an option to extend by an additional 11 months, potentially totaling 23 months.

In contrast, Austria and Malaysia have shorter limits, capped at six months each, due to specific bilateral arrangements. The program aims to attract young travelers seeking extended working experiences abroad, with the full list of eligible countries spanning every major region.
