AIG Dantawaye Prioritizes Professionalism in New Role

Miller Gajere Dantawaye has been appointed as the 10th substantive Assistant Inspector General of Police in charge of Zone 13 Headquarters in Ukpo, Anambra State. During his inaugural meeting with officers, he urged them to prioritize professionalism, accountability, and intelligence-led policing while respecting the rule of law.

Dantawaye highlighted the importance of collaboration with traditional institutions, communities, and stakeholders to effectively combat crime, including kidnapping, armed robbery, and cybercrime. He expressed gratitude to the Inspector-General of Police for the trust placed in him and commended the officers for their dedication.

The AIG assured his commitment to an open-door leadership style based on fairness and transparency, encouraging continuous learning and operational excellence among personnel. The meeting allowed officers to express their commitment to supporting Dantawaye’s vision for enhancing security across Anambra and Enugu states, which comprise Zone 13.
