RuffyEdwards Initiative Aids 400 Vulnerable Children in Ibadan

The RuffyEdwards Empowerment Initiative, led by Founder and Chief Executive Officer Princess Adedolapo Oni, distributed nutritious food packs to more than 400 vulnerable children in Ibadan. This initiative is part of their Project Nourish Food Bank, aimed at combating childhood hunger and alleviating the struggles of families during economic hardship.

The outreach targeted children in the Agugu community of Ibadan North East Local Government Area and the Ring Road area of Ibadan South West Local Government Area. Oni stated that childhood hunger is a significant barrier to growth and education, and the program ensures that vulnerable children have access to nutritious meals.

The selected communities were identified through a needs assessment. Project Nourish is a monthly intervention designed to reduce hunger and malnutrition among children, regardless of their school enrollment status.

Oni expressed gratitude to donors, partners, and volunteers for their contributions and reiterated the organization's commitment to expanding the program to support more vulnerable children.
