Two Nigerians Achieve Professorships in Saudi Arabia

The Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM) congratulated Dr. Muhammad Abubakar Dalhat and Prof.

Moruf Olalekan Yusuf for their recent promotions to the rank of Professor in Saudi Arabia. Dr.

Dalhat was elevated at the College of Engineering, Transportation and Traffic Engineering, Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University, while Prof. Yusuf, who serves as the Chairman of the Nigerian Institution of Civil Engineers, Eastern Province Chapter, was promoted at the University of Hafr Al Batin.

NIDCOM's Chairman/CEO, Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, praised their achievements as a source of pride for the Nigerian community abroad.

Dr. Dalhat holds a PhD in Civil Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals and has a notable research profile in pavement design and sustainable construction materials.

Prof. Yusuf, with a First Class degree from the University of Ibadan and a PhD in Concrete Technology from Universiti Sains Malaysia, is recognized for his work on sustainable construction materials and has over 50 peer-reviewed publications.

Dabiri-Erewa encouraged them to mentor upcoming Nigerian youths in academia.
