Nigeria and Angola Forge New Ties with Bilateral Agreements

Nigeria and Angola have strengthened their ties through new bilateral agreements aimed at enhancing cultural and political cooperation. The two countries revived the Bilateral Joint Economic Commission after 24 years and signed agreements focusing on economic, environmental, agricultural, and educational development.

The agreements include a twinning pact between Bayelsa State in Nigeria and Namibe Province in Angola, as well as a partnership between Nasarawa State and Bengo Province. These agreements mark a historic milestone in the relationship between the two nations and are expected to unlock new opportunities for mutual development and collaboration.
